On Saturday, May 4, Morris dancers will set up a maypole on the lawn of Shepherd University’s McMurran Hall, corner of German and King streets, 9 a.m.; performance at 10 a.m. Parade at 1 p.m. down German Street to the maypole. Charity bachelor auction
The auction on Friday, May 3, features several bachelors from the Washington County area ranging in age from 21 to 50-ish. A silent auction will also be held during the evening. Kids and moms at the mall
Hagerstown Children’s Theater leads a Mother’s Day celebration Saturday, May 4. See a sneak preview of “The Sound of Music.” Children can participate in a karaoke contest and make crafts for Mom. BMX racing star visits
More than 200 competitors of all ages will compete for cash and prizes Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5.
