2. Tour & tea
A walking tour of southwest to northeast Shepherds-town. Gardens as well as historic architecture will be accessible to the public. Garden tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 19. Teas from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, at War Memorial Building, East German Street, Shepherds-town, W.Va. $25 for garden tour and tea; $15 for garden tour only; $15 for just the tea. Tour maps plus a tea ticket will be distributed to ticket holders at the War Memorial Building at 10 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday. 5. Get on your dancing shoes
Pre-Pen Mar Ballroom Practice Session will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, May 17, at German bank barn, Allison-Antrim Museum, 365 S. Ridge Ave., Greencastle, Pa. Instructors help participants with dance steps and combinations of the waltz, foxtrot, rumba, cha-cha, East Coast and West Coast swing. $10. Drinks provided. Bring snacks.
