Summer Sizzle Under the Stars: Through Aug. 24

The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, 600 Main St. in Hartford, hosts a five-film series from July 20 to Aug. 24 called Summer Sizzle Under the Stars.  The outdoor screenings of 1930s romantic comeides are on Fridays. A la carte dinner and live, free jazz begin at 6 p.m. The movies start at 8:15 p.m. Everything will be moved indoors in case of rain.

<br>The series opens on Friday, July 20, with "It Happened One Night" (pictured), Frank Capra's 1934 story about an heiress (Claudette Colbert) and a reporter (Clark Gable).

On July 27, is "My Man Godfrey."

"The Awful Truth" will be shown Aug. 10. 
<br>
On Aug. 17, is "Easy Living."
<br>
The series closes on Aug. 24 with "Bringing Up Baby."
