Rose Weekend: June 22 and 23

It's all about the roses, but Rose Weekend at Hartford's Elizabeth Park, which is June 22 and 23 from 10 a.m. and  4 p.m., also includes family activities arts and crafts, horticultural societies and music on the lawn. Tours of the garden start at 11 a.m. A poetry reading by the Friends and Enemies of Wallace Stevens is noon Saturday. (Stick around for the full moon tour at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.)
