The Southington YMCA held its 9th annual Polar Plunge Saturday, Jan. 18. Hundreds gathered around the Sloper Pond beach to watch the more than 80 participants brave the 34 degree water at YMCA Camp Sloper in Southington. Over $26,000 was raised for camp scholarships for the upcoming summer camp season.
