Jousting, jesters, turkey legs, craft beer and games of skill await at the Robin Hood Springtime Festival in North Haven. The annual medieval festival opens Saturday, May 23, at 11 a.m. and runs weekends, including Memorial Day Monday, through June 7, at the North Haven Fairgrounds, 300 Washington Ave.Information: robinhoodsfaire.com and 860-478-5954.
The Robin Hood Springtime Festival held at the Guilford Fair Grounds entertained thousands of lords and ladies this past weekend with archery, sword fights, music, food, and more. Throughout the day the festival goers could follow the exploits of Robin Hood and his merry men (and women) as they confronted Prince John and his menacing court.
