On April 20, more than a dozen record stores in Connecticut will participate in Record Store Day. The day is an international celebration of the art of music, bringing together artists, fans and thousands of independent record stores across the world. Record Store Day was officially founded in 2007, with hundreds of recording artists partaking in the day, and the issuing of special vinyl and CD releases.
