    Rafael Medina, left, and Alfredo Manteca, both of Spain, celebrate Wednesday evening under a rainbow that appeared over Hartford. Medina and Manteca were married in Spain in 2005. Shortly after Medina took a job as a biology researcher at UCONN; working in the United States under a work visa. The Supreme Court's ruling against DOMA will allow Manteca to now obtain a work visa. He is currently living in the U.S. under a tourist visa, as the Federal Government did not recognize the couple's marriage.

Hartford non-profits Real Art Ways and True Colors teamed up Wednesday to celebrate the landmark United States Supreme Court decision that DOMA violates the constitutional rights of LGBT Americans. The celebration was held at Real Art Ways, 56 Arbor St. in Hartford.
