Rafael Medina, left, and Alfredo Manteca, both of Spain, celebrate Wednesday evening under a rainbow that appeared over Hartford. Medina and Manteca were married in Spain in 2005. Shortly after Medina took a job as a biology researcher at UCONN; working in the United States under a work visa. The Supreme Court's ruling against DOMA will allow Manteca to now obtain a work visa. He is currently living in the U.S. under a tourist visa, as the Federal Government did not recognize the couple's marriage.
