At Avery Point
Visual attist and ecological designer Ana Flores of Charlestown, R.I., stands by her work titled "Sigue Caminando/ Keep Walking." Flores is the organizer of "Poetry of the Wild: Avery Point," a beach walk on the University of Connecticut satellite campus in Groton displaying "poetry boxes," little kiosks designed by local artists with poems inside to enhance the beachgoing experience. Each box also contains a journal for passers-by to record their thoughts.
