"Sensory Perception" is a futuristic drama in which Savage portrays the "president of United Earth."
The Internet Movie Database describes the plot as "A recovering drug addict and a synth-gen created soldier struggle to find their place in the world, and how to deal with visions of an apocalypse."
A longer description on that web page goes into more detail: "Jeremy, a recovering drug addict, still drowns himself in absinthe. And now he's seeing visions of the end of mankind. Are they hallucinations? Are they a message? And what do they have to do with the serial killer stalking Brass City? Jeremy struggles to believe he's found a purpose larger than himself and his addictions."
The director and producer of the Waterbury-based production is Alessandro Signore. The production company is Pale Nail. Filming has been done at Wild Bill's Nostalgia Shop in Middletown, in Bloomfield, Bridgeport, Shelton and Waterbury.
According to the film's Facebook page, professional fighters Tommy Dreamer, Diamond Dallas Page and Gabriel Gonzaga also star in the film.
The movie was being shot around the area a couple years ago, but is reshooting several scenes now with the name actors and other cast members.
