The 2nd annual Earth Day celebration at Riverfront Recapture Sunday, April 27, 2014, brought people of faith and environmentalists together for the day. The event began with an interfaith service and walk to the park before an afternoon of music, informational booths, and family-friendly entertainment. The day was organized by the Interreligious Eco-Justice Network and the Office of Catholic Social Justice Ministry for the Archdiocese of Hartford.
