Candace is happy to make you whatever your heart desires, especially if it's a Bleeding Heart, just don't ask her to surprise you.

Q: What's your favorite drink?

A: Bud Light bottle and my favorite wine is the Tapena red. My favorite drink to make is the Bleeding Heart (which I am not) because it has raspberry vodka, cranberry juice and a champagne floater and women love it. ... By the way, the name of every drink on the menu has a story behind it.

Q: What does the bar do during the winter months to bring people in?

A: We do two different event dinners every month that have a specific theme. We did a France night, a Greek night, when everything on our menu, food and drink, was from that country. In April we will focus on Argentina.

Q: What's your biggest pet peeve?

A: When a customer says "surprise me."  I don't want to disappoint anyone, but honestly nine times out of 10 someone will say, "This isn't what I like."  I wish they would order what they like.

Q: The best cure for a hangover?

A: Hair of the dog; why do you think Sunday brunches are so popular? They're not to eat. Spicy bloody Mary's are perfect for a hangover.
