"Jefferson & Adams" explores the turbulent 52-year relationship between two celebrated Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. Written by Howard Ginsberg, the play takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday through Monday July 5-7 at Colonial Williamsburg's Kimball Theatre. This production features the original cast, including character historian Bill Barker as Jefferson, Sam Goodyear as Adams, and CW actress Abigail Schumann as Abigail Adams. "Jefferson & Adams" looks at the compelling political debates and passionate personal beliefs of these two men that helped shape America and who died on the same day — July 4, 1826 — exactly 50 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
