PG, 1:31 running time

Adam Sandler plays his usual role, that of the successful, irritable Hollywood jerk — an ad executive this time, scrambling to get Al Pacino for a Dunkin' Donuts commercial. Sandler also plays Jack's twin sister, a shrieky, gassy, sweaty amalgam of bodily odors and pathos who travels from the Bronx to LA for a few days, which turn into a few more. At a Lakers game Pacino falls for her, and by the time we get to the most slavish product placement for a cruise ship, ever (the Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas, so you can plan your booking immediately) "Jack and Jill" has devolved into a smack down between Pacino and everyone who is not Pacino.-- Michael Phillips
