TruTV’s “Hardcore Pawn: Chicago” – the spinoff of “Hardcore Pawn” – wrapped filming September 13 at Royal Pawn Shop on S. Clark Street. The cameras began rolling in July and had been filming store owners and brothers Randy and Wayne Cohen and their customers.

The nine-episode series, which premieres in December, is produced by Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment, which is run by former WCW President and WWE personality Eric Bischoff and former “Wonder Years” actor Jason Hervey.

The Bulls’ Jimmy Butler visited the store last week but will not appear on the show. According to a spokeswoman for the store, “Jimmy Butler stopped in to say hello to his friends at Royal. Star sightings are not unusual at Royal as the Cohen family has many famous and wealthy customers shopping for high-end watches and jewelry.”
