, whose latest film “Under the Skin” is showing at the Venice Film Festival, is engaged to her French journalist boyfriend, her spokesman said on Thursday.
The 28-year-old actress will marry Romain Dauriac, but the couple has not set a date for the wedding.
“I can confirm that Scarlett and Romain are engaged,” said her representative, Marcel Pariseau.
Dauriac is the former editor of the French magazine Clark. According to People Magazine, he is said to have proposed about a month ago, and the actress sported a vintage Art Deco ring at the Venice Film Festival earlier this week, where she was promoting
“Under the Skin.”
In July, her rep shut down engagement rumors, saying that the former Mrs. Ryan Reynolds was “not engaged or close to being engaged.” Any diamonds or rubies she was wearing were “simply a piece of jewelry,” according to E! News.
That same month, “The Avengers” star unloaded a Hollywood condo that was considered her “bachelorette pad” for $470,000, public records show.
Johansson was previously linked to ad exec Nate Naylor after ending her three-year marriage to Reynolds in July 2011. (He married “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively in September 2012.)
Johansson and Dauriac took their relationship public in November 2012.
