Before you look for comedian and actor Sinbad on one of those "Where Are They Now?" shows, we've found him. He's where he started before movie and TV roles took his career soaring: the stand-up stage. As the philosophy goes, "There are no new jokes," so add Sinbad to the list of comedians to whom current stand-ups should be sending royalty checks for versions of his jokes that are making them famous.
Why go: The son of a minister, Sinbad manages to make his comedy funny and relatable without profanity.
Reconsider: Maybe a few F-bombs would distract from some of Sinbad's punch lines that don't quite hit the mark.
