Director and writer Michael Sturminger's shocking play-with-music, a hit at its premiere in Vienna in 2009, stars Chicago film and stage actor John Malkovich as the real-life Austrian serial murderer Jack Unterweger. Chapters of spoken dialogue include music by Gluck, Vivaldi, Beethoven and others, performed by singers Laura Aikin and Kirsten Blaise, with the Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra under Martin Haselbock.
