Chicago Green Music Fest

What band could be better to headline the Green Music Fest than guitar-driven rock trio Dinosaur Jr., which released the pre-grunge staple "Green Mind" in 1991? Nostalgia aside, the group is still very much a going concern, and will be joined by Canadians Hey Rosetta! and coed duo the Raveonettes at this environmentally conscious shindig. A kids' area, free bike-parking facilities, eco-friendly wares and green technology demonstrations round out the sustainable-driven offerings of a fest that takes its name to heart.
