Tori Spelling may have been willing to strap herself to a lie detector on TV and talk about hookups from last century, but Jason Priestley has apparently moved on.
"I'm not getting into this... It's nobody's business... Either way...," Priestley said Sunday on Twitter, replying but not replying to someone who asked whether it was true -- as Spelling said in a "Celebrity Lie Detector" episode Saturday night -- that the former "Beverly Hills 90210" costars had slept together back in the day.
Spelling's tell-all Lifetime special followed an "unauthorized" movie about what allegedly happened behind the scenes on the show, which ran for 10 seasons. Priestley wasn't impressed by either effort.
In a promo for the lie-detector show, the actress who played Donna Martin admitted sleeping with Brian Austin Green, who was her boyfriend for a while, then did the "I'm not going to tell you who" routine regarding a hookup with another co-worker.
She eventually wound up giving up the goods, however, characterizing her involvement with Priestley as "a summer fling."
"It was off-set," she said. "It was our version of a summer romance. The '90210' version. And that was it, and we stayed great friends for the rest of the run and beyond that, we had that one summer fling."
When another tweep told Priestley on Sunday that she was saddened by what she saw as the actor bashing the show that made him, he explained where he was coming from.
"I'm only speaking with negativity about the Lifetime movie and Tori's lie detector...," wrote the guy who played Brandon Walsh. "Nothing but love for 90210."
