Kwanzaa celebration

Chakeesha Simmons-El of Baltimore has fun as she makes an African Mask during a Kwanzaa celebration. The annual celebration of African heritage, focusing on the seven core principals of unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith was marked with a festival on Saturday at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture.
