Hide your kids, hide your wives. There's an asteroid/comet/meter coming to Lima, according to Brittany. And we know how reliable she is. So, just in case the world comes to an end, Mr. Schu tells the glee club kids they need to say everything they need to say to the people they love. And so, we have this week's lesson: Last Chance.
Meanwhile, Ryder is infatuated with a girl he "met" online. Manti Te'o, anyone? Except Ryder thinks he's found Katie, so he serenades her with Elton John. But, as it turns out, someone cat fished him. Ugh. So he's pissed and he wrongfully accuses Jake and Marley.
Brittany declares her love for her cat, Lord Tubbington, through song; however, we're not sure if he reciprocates. But she's not the only one making confessions. Coach Beiste tells Will she has feelings for him...like we didn't see that one coming. Unfortunately, she didn't get the memo that Will and Emma are back together, so he lets her down gently. How embarrassing, but I admire her for going for it!

Oh and false alarm, Brittany discovers that the asteroid/comet/meteor was actually a ladybug on her telescope, which is actually a Pringles can. Oh, Britt Britt!
Mr. Schu invites Coach Beiste to the glee club practice aka Happy the World Didn't Actually End Day. But then shots rang out. Everyone goes into panic mode and Mr. Schu puts the show choir room on lock-down; however, Brittany and Tina aren't there. We see Brittany is hiding in the bathroom and Tina was outside. Sam wants to find Brittany, but Mr. Schu and Coach Beiste won't let him out because it would put everyone in danger. And so they wait. The only sound you can hear is the metronome.
Artie takes video of everyone, in case this is the last thing the world sees of him. And if I wasn't crying before, I definitely am now. I can't even imagine how I'd react in that situation. But I think the producers did an excellent job of capturing what is surely a horrific event.
Ryder decides to call "Katie" and another cell phone rings from within the show choir room. It appears to be coming from Kitty's backpack, but she later denies everything. Hmm... Mr. Schu rescues Brittany and some other people from the bathroom. Later, the S.W.A.T. team says everything is clear.
The next day, we see everyone going through metal detectors. Mr. Schu and Coach Beiste are talking about what happened and Sue matter-of-factly states the gun was hers. Umm...what?! She gives Principal Figgins an account of what happened...she bought a gun in light of recent events. She was doing a safety check when the gun went off...twice. Seems a bit odd, but feasible. And Principal Figgins has no choice but to let her go. No more Sue? William McKinley will never be the same!
During her conversation with Mr. Schu; however, we learn the truth. Becky was in Sue's office having a slight meltdown when Becky pulled out a gun and it went off. Wow. I just gained so much more respect for Sue. I always knew she had a heart inside of that tough facade she puts on, but this is just noble. Sue asks Mr. Schu to look after Becky.
Ryder was supposed to meet "Katie" in front of the show choir room at 3:30; however, she never shows up, so he joins the rest of the glee club in the auditorium for the secret meeting. They're singing John Mayer's "Say"...and that's really all that needs to be said.
