Though set in Washington and Baltimore, most of the filming was done in Baltimore. And the movie isn't Smith's only connection to Baltimore: in 1997, he married actress Jada Pinkett, a graduate of the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="OREDU0000517" title="Baltimore School for the Arts" href="/topic/education/schools/high-schools/baltimore-school-for-the-arts-OREDU0000517.topic">Baltimore School for the Arts</a>.
