Nancy Grace's wardrobe malfunction will be the most infamous moment of this episode of DWTS.
To cover a few seconds of time while host Tom Bergeron tipped Nancy off to adjust her cleavage ("On the European version, that would be perfectly fine," he assures her.), the cameras panned to a backup shot of a bored-looking audience.
But enough about the nip-slip already. On to the dancing...
Fast-paced dances often befuddle novice dancers. And that was true for a few of the contestants who took on the jive and quickstep on tonight's show.
The top scorer was Ricki Lake with 23 points (out of 30) and the low score was doled out to Chaz Bono with 17 points.
Hope Solo "kicked" off the show by shaking her booty and baring her midsection in a jive to Avril Lavigne's spunky "Boyfriend" tune. It was an upbeat number, but you could tell Hope struggled to differentiate her jive flick from her soccer kick.
Kristin Cavallari looked old Hollywood glamorous in her Marilyn Monroe getup. Maybe channeling Marilyn gave her a confidence boost because she did a whole lot better with her quickstep this week than with her first-week cha-cha. Downright impressive!
Elisabetta Canalis achieved some hard-earned redemption from her uber-awkward first week performance.
Rob Kardashian got a standing ovation for his "Surfin' Safari" jive despite his complaint during rehearsal: "My boobs are bouncing." Carrie Ann declared him officially a better dancer than his sister Kim.
Ricki Lake -- in hot pink fringe -- pulled off one of the more memorable jives of the night despite what I'll call "fish lips" and gratuitous gyrating and grinding with partner Derek Hough.
J.R. Martinez was once again a crowd-pleaser with his "Jump Jive An' Wail" number (with newsie costuming to boot!). He just knows how to move. The judges weren't as thrilled as the audience however. Carrie Ann penalized J.R. and partner Karina Smirnoff by a point for a lift, while Len characterized their jive as more of a lindy hop.
- Brooke Burke sported the same hairstyle I wore to my junior prom in 1997.
- David Arquette and Carson Kressley both need to work on their facial expressions, since each pretty much left his mouth hanging open during his entire dance.
- Chaz Bono's knees are crunchy like granola.
- Chynna Phillips apologizes to Jesus when she curses. (Her curses include exclamations like, "Fudgesicles!")
- Brooke Burke awkwardly cut off J.R.'s reflections on hard work and motivation.Copyright © 2015, CT Now
