Smoke rises from burning weapons being destroyed as part of a regional program to combat the illicit accumulation and trafficking of small arms and light weapons and their ammunition in Varazdin, north Croatia, October 19, 2012. A total number of 1566 weapons were destroyed as part of the EU's "Strengthening Safety and Security (SEESAC) control activities in the Western Balkans" program.
