Ryan Kopacsi, 34, who for 15 years has led the Peppas, VCU’s popular pep band, announced his retirement Monday night on his Facebook page, but he said Tuesday that VCU administrators have offered to reopen contract negotiations.
“I hope there can be a resolution in the next day or two,” Kopacsi wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday.
