Burgers Italiano (with Jessica's coleslaw)

Recipe: Burgers Italiano

1/2 lb hamburger (well marbled)1/4 lb ground turkey
1/4 lb bacon (cut into pieces but raw)
1 bottle Italian dressing (divided in half)
1/2 lb Muenster cheese slices
2 large tomatoes
Jessica's broccoli slaw
Toasted sesame buns

Recipe for broccoli slaw
:1/8 lb broccoli spears
1/8 lb caulifower
1/8 lb carrots
2 cucumbers
1/4 c. dehydrated onions
1/2 bottle Italian dressing

Night Before:
Finely shred first 3 ingredients of broccoli slaw.
Finely dice cucumbers and add to broccoli mixture.
Add onions and 1/2 bottle of dressing (reserve other half for tomorrow).Stir and allow to sit overnight in refrigerator.

Day of Burgers:
Mix meats and remainder of Italian dressing together until well blended. Allow to sit in refrigerator at least 30 minutes (to absorb flavors of dressing).
Shape into 1/4 lb burgers (making a light well in center of each).
Cook your favorite way--I prefer broiling, but they can be grilled or done in skillet--until done to your satisfaction.
Place 2 slices of Muenster cheese on burgers along with a thick slice of tomato and a tablespoon (or more) of broccoli slaw inside toasted bun.

Makes 4 burgers and a side slaw*
*Slaw also great on bagel sandwich with ham and cheese broiled until cheese melts!
