Everything about the place was fusion, the décor a melange of modern art and garden patio a la Miami. The menu crossed a sushi bar with old-school Italian favorites. From Beef Brasciola over gnocchi ($8) to Salmon Sashimi ($9), any selection that did not tickle your senses was matched by something that would.

We felt thrust into a scene from Kill Bill, while waitstaff hustled exotic drinks and nouveau garnishes to the tune of Latin-techno and samurai-capoeira music.
