GREAT DATES
Got a suggestion for a great date in Connecticut? Romantic restaurant? Picnic in the park? Monster truck rally? Share your ideas.

1. I think that eating beneath the grape leaves on the porch at Mavi Restaurant in Bloomfield is truly romantic. There are so many beautiful flowers there that romance is in the air. The food is amazing too!

2. For romantic dates the best place is The Litchfield Saltwater Grille. It is new in the location of the old Chucks Steak house. The chef usually sends out a complimentry amuse bouche. It's a great place to impress a date and the wine list is very good.

3. I second Cafe routier. Place is super chill. The Mood Lounge (attached to the bar) is really laid back. Mood music!!!! Small plates of yumminess and creative martinis. I wish someone would ask me here for a date

5. The Blue Pearl, a bar and fondue establishment in New Haven, is a great place for a date. Be sure to make reservations - and when you arrive, prepare to relax in the laid back atmosphere that resembles that of a Norwegian Spa! Excellent food, terrific desserts. Thumbs up!
