Tinley Park residents meet with village Park District officials

Marie Goyola was among roughly 30 Tinley Park residents who met with village Park District officials last week to give suggestions on how to improve St. Boniface Park at 163rd Place and Oak Park Avenue. The Park District is moving to permanently acquire the 4.62-acre property, owned by St. Boniface Episcopal Church since the early 1960s. “It's an entranceway into Old Tinley,” Goyola said. “It should be pretty.”
