Julia Louis-Dreyfus visits Chicago, attends Northwestern basketball game

"Veep" star Julia Louis-Dreyfus' holiday weekend was a homecoming of sorts with visits to Evanston and Chicago.

Louis-Dreyfus, who attended Northwestern University, was photographed Friday at the Northwestern basketball game against Bryant University. The actress' son, Charlie Hall, plays for the Wildcats.

Louis-Dreyfus, 55, was also spotted Saturday at Ten Mile House in Evanston and Sunday at the Diana Thater exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

The "Seinfeld" star, an alumna of Second City, has been seen rooting for Northwestern at Ryan Field and dining around town since her son enrolled at Northwestern last year.

The Season 5 finale of "Veep" aired in June.
