Susan Ritter has been named executive director for the newly created Office of Patient Experience at University of Chicago Medicine. The office brings together existing operations involving patient relations and patient satisfaction reporting and analysis. Before joining University of Chicago Medicine, Ritter was the director of patient experience, service excellence and guest Relations at the University of California San Diego Health System. She has spent more than 25 years creating and directing programs designed to improve the patient experience by working with health care leaders to understand the needs of patients.
