Dan Lathitham, 36, has been promoted to senior account supervisor at AbelsonTaylor. He will be leading accounts in the HIV and endocrine/metabolic categories. He previously served as an account supervisor for the company. Lathitham has 14 years of experience in healthcare advertising and public relations, medical education, integrated communications, issues and event management. With a strong background in the HIV/AIDS category, he has worked in the areas of oncology, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal disease, urology and women's health. He joined AbelsonTaylor from Ketchum Public Relations, where he was vice president, account supervisor. Before that, he was senior project manager at Discovery Chicago, a medical education company part of the Publicis Healthcare Group (PHCG). He also spent four years at GolinHarris International in Chicago. Lathitham has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
