Michael King, partner, Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP

Michael H. King has joined Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP as a partner in the litigation department. In his more than three decades of practice, King has represented clients in major civil and criminal litigation suits, including white collar crime, intellectual property, antitrust and employment-related issues. A former federal prosecutor, King's areas of focus have included counseling clients regarding environmental claims, whistleblower cases, dealings with multiple federal agencies and complex commercial litigation.
 
King comes to Edwards Wildman from Neal Gerber Eisenberg where he practiced in the general and commercial litigation group. Prior to that, he was at Dewey LeBoeuf where he was a managing partner. He has also practiced at Ross & Hardies and served as chairman of that firm's executive committee. King started his law career as a special attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice's organized crime and racketeering section in Chicago, later serving as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. 
 
King has a Bachelor's degree from Washington University and a law degree from Washington University's School of Law.
