Jay Dirkmaat has been named vice president of business services for Comcast Corporation's greater Chicago region. He will be responsible for Comcast's commercial business in the region.

Dirkmaat comes to the local region from Comcast's Mile High Region in Denver, where he served as vice president of business services for the last two years. He has more than 20 years of sales management, operations and corporate development experience. Before coming to Comcast, he worked for Integra (formerly Eschelon), where he served as vice president of sales for Colorado and was responsible for the company's direct and indirect sales efforts.

Dirkmaat has a Bachelor's degree from Lehigh University.
