Bob Thacker has been named chief marketing strategist for SHC Direct. He will lead the company's marketing initiatives.

Thacker is currently the executive director of Adopt-A-Classroom, a non-profit organization focused on raising funds to provide the necessary supplies to classrooms nationwide. Prior to joining SHC Direct and Adopt-A-Classroom, Thacker served as senior vice president of marketing at OfficeMax, president and CEO of BBDO Advertising in Minneapolis, and senior vice president of marketing and advertising at Sears and Target.
