James McClamroch, Jr., 42, has been named the senior vice president for individual software at Morningstar, Inc. He will be responsible for the business unit that develops products for individual investors, including Morningstar.com and the company's other global retail websites, mobile applications, investor relations products and newsletters. Prior to joining Morningstar, McClamroch served as general manager of global product partnerships in Microsoft's Online Services Division, where he led the global strategy, development, and management of product partnerships for the Bing and MSN services. McClamroch holds a Bachelor's degree in political science from DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind.
