Wilhelm, who has developed a wealth of expertise in municipal and corporate bond credit research and fixed-income portfolio management during his twenty-one year career, will help to build a team of investment professionals to offer investors products that invest in tax-exempt municipal bonds. Prior to joining PTIA, Wilhelm was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Chicago-based Nuveen Investments. While at Nuveen, Wilhelm managed more than $3 billion in total assets covering high yield and high quality municipal bond strategies. Before he joined the portfolio management team, Wilhelm led a team of credit analysts responsible for research of industrial development bonds, utilities and real estate-backed financings.
