An Evergreen Park woman died today almost three months after a car she was driving was involved in a head-on crash in Burbank that killed the driver of the second car, authorities said.
Laura Linderborg, 52, of the 9200 block of Utica Avenue in Evergreen Park, died about 1 p.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center, after suffering critical injuries in the crash in Burbank on April 10, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Linderborg’s 2009 Kia Spectra collided with a 2012 Nissan Altima driven by Jesse J. Medina, 27, of Chicago, about 11:30 p.m. April 10 near 79th Street and New England Avenue in Burbank, authorities said at the time.
Medina was declared dead about an hour later at Christ Medical Center.
There were no passengers in either car, and no citations were issued in the crash.
An autopsy for Linderborg is scheduled for Saturday.
