Weather in South causing flight problems here

Winter weather in the South is causing headaches for travelers at Chicago’s airports today.

By about 10:30 a.m., more than 100 flights at O'Hare International Airport and 35 fights at Midway Airport had been cancelled, according to the Chicago Department of Aviation.

Many AirTran and Southwest flights are being cancelled today. Southwest Airlines notified people of cancellations Tuesday night.

Some employees of Delta Airlines slept on planes overnight because there weren’t enough hotel rooms for everyone after they cancelled several of their flights, according to WGN-TV.
