After six years as a part-time substitute teacher, Lauren Rousseau became a full-time substitute teacher at Sandy Hook last fall. Her mother, Teresa Rousseau, an editor at the News-Times in Danbury, Conn., told the paper that working there "was the best year of her life." Lauren Rousseau's boyfriend said they had planned to see "The Hobbit" on Friday night.
