Sea predator

Chief Prepator Akiko Shinya points out parts of a 244-million-year-old fossil in a research area of the Field Museum in Chicago.  The fossil, of the Thalattoarchon Saurophagis, was a marine reptile that roamed the sea as a predator that lived at the same time as dinosaurs. It was found by the Field Museum during an exploration of a remote mountain range in Central Nevada. At bottom are its teeth. To the right of her hand is its eye socket.
