A policeman fires tear gas at an anti-government protester, after they commemorated the third day of the funeral of Mohammed Ibrahim Yacoub in Sitra, southeast of Manama. Anti-government protesters clashed with Bahraini riot police on Monday after the funeral of Mohammed Ibrahim Yacoub, a 19-year-old who died last week after police detained him. Police say that Yacoub died last week from complications resulting from sickle cell disease while protesters say he was beaten up by riot police after his arrest and that his body showed bruising and abrasions.
