British writer, essayist and autistic savant Daniel Tammet poses at the Palais de la Decouverte, a science museum in Paris, as part of the first Pi Day in France, a celebration commemorating the mathematical constant pi. Daniel Tammet holds the European record for reciting pi from memory to 22,514 digits in five hours and nine minutes on 14 March 2004.
