Oct. 7, 1954

Oct. 7, 1954: Shabby in looks but strong in history is this Warrenville landmark. The vintage 1858 building was originally home to the Warrenville Methodist Church but has since served as a school, a meeting place for the Ku Klux Klan, Albright Gallery of Painting and Sculpture, home of the DuPage Art League and the Albright Theatre Company. Currently the building is the Warrenville Historical Museum and Art Gallery. Tribune archive photo / Chicago Tribune
