Cold case solved: Richard Ehlenfeldt and his wife, Lynn, Brown's Chicken murders

Restaurant owners Richard Ehlenfeldt, 50, and his wife, Lynn, 49; Tom Mennes, 32; Marcus Nellsen, 31; Michael Castro, 16; Guadalupe Maldonado, 46; and Rico Solis, 17. <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PEOCVC000003" title="James Degorski" href="/topic/crime-law-justice/crime/james-degorski-PEOCVC000003.topic">James Degorski</a> and <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PEOCVC000004" title="Juan Luna" href="/topic/crime-law-justice/crime/juan-luna-PEOCVC000004.topic">Juan Luna</a> were convicted in the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="EVHST0000201" title="Brown's Chicken Massacre (1993)" href="/topic/crime-law-justice/crime/homicide/browns-chicken-massacre-%281993%29-EVHST0000201.topic">murders</a> of seven people in January 1993 at a <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCRP0000016927" title="Brown's Chicken &amp;amp; Pasta, Inc." href="/topic/economy-business-finance/consumer-goods-industries/restaurants/browns-chicken-%26-pasta-inc.-ORCRP0000016927.topic">Brown's Chicken</a> & Pasta restaurant in Palatine. Luna, convicted in 2007, and Degorski, convicted in 2009, were sentenced to life in prison without parole.<br>

James Degorski and Juan Luna were convicted in the murders of seven people in January 1993 at a Brown's Chicken & Pasta restaurant in Palatine.
