Daley" href="/topic/politics/government/richard-m.-daley-PEPLT007475.topic">Mayor Richard Daley</a>, christens the new lakefront ship, The Odyssey, in 1991 at <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLTRA0000140" title="Navy Pier" href="/topic/travel/tourism-leisure/navy-pier-PLTRA0000140.topic">Navy Pier</a> in Chicago. The owners of the Odyssey, a 175-foot-long "mega yacht" said they planned to offer daily dining cruises year-round. Co-owner Michael Higgins called his Odyssey the Le Francais of the sailing lines. "I know there's room in the market for (us)," he said. The new boat cost $5 million.
