Mark Shouger, senior director, Ronald McDonald House

Mark Shouger has joined Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana as senior director of the world¿s largest Ronald McDonald House near Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children¿s Hospital of Chicago.

The15-story house at 211 E. Grand Ave., which opened in June 2012, has 86 rooms and provides care to families of children undergoing treatment at Lurie.

Shouger has 26 years of hospitality industry experience, most recently as  general manager of the Wit Hotel in downtown Chicago. The Florida native began his career with Hyatt Hotels, and has touched every aspect of hotel operations, from housekeeping and room management to staffing and front office systems. His volunteer work for Ronald McDonald House gave him a key role in the planning for the Streeterville facility.
