Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley is sworn in for his fourth term at City Hall by U.S. District Senior Judge Abraham Lincoln Marovitz. Daley family members are (from left) the mayor's mother, Eleanor; wife, Maggie; and the Daleys' three children -- Lallie, 15, Patrick, 23 and Nora, 25.
"I've been with the Daley clan for a lot of years," said Judge Marovitz, who noted that he administered the oath to Richard J. Daley after each of his six election wins. He continued to carry out that tradition at the four official swearings-in of the son, Richard M. Daley.
